My Story
Hi! I'm Emily, and I am an undergraduate at the University of Worcester where I am currently in my final year of studying creative media.

I have had a creative mind my entire life, but I initially chose not to follow this and decided to pursue my academic passions within science at A-level. Although once I got to university, I soon realised that I wanted to 'seek what set my soul on fire' which is why I changed my course to creative media.
​
This is when I discovered my passion for different software, design and editing. I love the complexity and analysing the problems that occur and how I can solve these but mostly the pride that comes with publishing that final piece.

Past Experience
May 2022 - July 2022
HAWKEYE VISION
I completed work experience for Hawkeye Vision as an assistant for videography and photography. This role included helping with set-up, editing footage and taking videos and photographs.
July 2022 - August 2022
EIGHTY THREE DESIGNS
Work Experience role, whereby I learnt about website design. My role included helping to build the websites, creating motion graphics for websites and producing social media posts for the company.
July 2022
SMALL AXE RADICAL FILM FESTIVAL
A voluntary role, which included being involved with the festival by assessing films that would be included, speaking with the public about those films and helping to organise the event.
